Heavenly Father, You saw who You created me to be before I became me. Before I had ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book. Every single moment You are thinking of me. How precious and wonderful to consider that You cherish me constantly in your every thought. When I awaken each morning, you are still with me.
If you are familiar with Zoom, you know that you see someone’s picture if they’re setting is video, or you see their name or preset picture, if they’ve set it on audio. Usually, when it’s set on audio, it’s because you’re having a bad hair day or haven’t put on makeup and don’t want to be seen.

Recently during a worship service, the Lord spoke to me and said, “There are many who need a rescue, but they aren’t asking Me.” Several questions went through my mind immediately.
Are individuals not aware they need a rescue? Do they believe that what’s wrong in their life doesn’t qualify as a rescue? Lord, if they’re aware they need a rescue, why aren’t they asking for one? Is … Read More and Comment

A sense of entitlement is not something new. Joshua deals with it in Joshua 17.
It’s the time of the disbursement of the land to the various tribes of Israel. The land was distributed by lot (like drawing names from a hat). The leaders believed that God determined who received what parcel of land.
The tribe of Manasseh felt they were entitled to more and than they were originally given. In Verse … Read More and Comment
